Susy,Born in madrid and of roots andalusian and flamenco, passionate traveler, I arrived in mallorca fifteen years ago, leaving the hectic life of the great cities ,I was fascinated by the light of this island, the blue turquoise landscapes of the mediterranean and its authentic nature I fell in love ... Here I discovered the calm rhythm and the quality of life of the small towns where it seems that time has stopped, I learned to cultivate the land, to listen to the sea and to cook for friends and family, recovering the alchemical art of fire, the traditional recipes inherited from the women of my family, the natural ingredients and the charm of a good conversation by candlelight with a good wine under the porch facing the sea ... Based in the Sierra de Tramuntana, I enjoy the art of painting, music, nature walks of these magical mountains that surround me and I am passionate to savor each day as a gift to share with friends and who wants to get closer to enjoy the music and the kitchen united in Flamenco Foodie with Damaris in the under our oak which it is cooked and sung to the joy of living. --Damaris Sanchez I was born and raised in Andalucia surrounded by music, my grandmother was a tavern keeper and always sang her flamenco´s songs to the fire of the hearths where around a candle, a good meal and a good wine is where the best songs are played. The pleasure of homemade food is always linked to the celebration of being together, sharing the experience and singing to life, because as the saying goes, "who sings his fears keeps away"... I discovered Mallorca and decided to settle down and establish my professional career as a singer in this island that is a privilege for the senses, that is why something in this place drives me to return to the origin, to the simplicity of sharing good manners, as has been Always done, and flamenco foodie is the most direct and authentic way to do it, taking my art to a good table and teaching people from all over the world the pleasure of living this unique experience.
