About me

I am a licensed, freelance working Turkish tour guide who was born and raised in Istanbul. I offer ( only private ) tours for English speaking visitors to Istanbul and to other areas of Turkey and my tours are geared towards visitors who are interested in history, culture, good, authentic FOOD and also safe, smart shopping ...I have been doing this job with amateur enthusiasms in professional manner for more than 25 years. You usually eat so much during most standart food tours until you are about to burst ! I believe this takes all the pleasure away.. My food tour is not only for eating but more like eating and touring while chatting with someone like Anthony Bourdain ...We are going to talk about history, culture, politics and on any range of topics without being afraid to voice our opinions while tasting interesting local foods at authentic restaurants... Please note that we don't make group tours..We dont mix/match/combine people to cut the cost by sharing a private tour
